Easter Magnuson

Easter Magnuson, age 96 of Hamilton, passed away at Bradford Place on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Easter was born in McDowell Co, West Virginia on May 26, 1921 to Charles Matthew and Mattie (Collett) Carroll. Easter worked at Wright Patterson Airforce Base during WWII. She had several careers, encompassing everything from factory work to modeling. On March 3, 1961, she married Thomas C. Magnuson II, who preceded her in death in September of 1980. Easter finished her working career by being the sole housekeeper at St. Peter In Chains in Hamilton, Ohio from 1980-2002.

Easter is survived by her son, Thomas C. Magnuson III and his wife, Michele, and their two children, Korey and Logan Magnuson; her daughter, Carole Braswell and her husband, Kevin, and their two children, Alex and Max Braswell; her granddaughter, Mary Callie Murray; and friends too numerous to mention. Easter was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 19 years, Thomas C. Magnuson II; and her brothers, Charles and Seif Carroll.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp as celebrant. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Bradford Place, to acknowledge their excellent care over the past 8 years.
