Ed Thomas Stevens

Ed Thomas Stevens, age 75 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:20 AM. He was born in Cincinnati on November 12, 1936 the son of Homer M. and Madge (Flenner) Stevens. Ed graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Cincinnati and was employed as a salesman at Ryearson Steel. He was a member of Norwood Christian Church and attended Lindenwald Baptist Church. On September 20, 1990 in Hamilton he married Eleiza Ann Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Eleiza Ann Stevens of Hamilton; a son, James Stevens of Cincinnati; two stepchildren, Jeff (Michelle) Davis of Hamilton and Rhonda (Ron) Varney of Fairfield; a brother, James M. (Pam) Stevens of Evansville, Indiana; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Randy Moore of Lindenwald Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer’s Association.
