Edeltraud "Trudy" Wesenberg

Edeltraud “Trudy” Wesenberg, age 90 of Rochester, New York, passed away at StoryPoint Fairfield, Ohio on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Trudy was born in Brietzig, Germany on June 25, 1935 to Arnold and Marta Stange. On July 25, 1958, she married the love of her life, Klaus Wesenberg in Germany. Together they moved to Rochester and had their daughters. They enjoyed the German community, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Trudy was endearingly called Oma by her family.

Trudy is survived by her daughters, Caroline (Tim) Black and Loretta (Steve) Riddle; her grandchildren, Sara (Ben) LaFary, Stephanie (Jared) Bradley, Gavin (Brittany) Black and Alex Black; her great-grandchildren, Emma Bradley and Luke Black; and her sister, Ruth (Michael) Koischwitz. Trudy was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 59 years, Klaus Wesenberg.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
