Edgar Schooley Ii

Edgar Schooley II, age 93 of Fairfield, passed away at Dayton VA Medical Center on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 12:16PM. He was born in Middletown on December 18, 1921 to Edgar and Ida (Wray) Schooley. Edgar was employed at Champion Paper Company for 39 years. He was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God for 70 years. On December 25, 1945 in Hamilton, he married Nell E. Simpson, and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2015.

He is survived by his children; Edgar E. Schooley III of Fairfield, William L. Schooley of Thailand, Penny Sue Whitlock of Chicago, IL, Stephen Schooley, of Sharonville; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Schooley of Greenville, OH, and Richard Schooley of Hamilton; and one sister, Nell Elaine Bowlin of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by Edgar Schooley Sr. and Ida Schooley; four brothers and five sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11AM with Bishop Barry Clardy officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 9-11AM at the church.
