Edith Estes

Edith Estes, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 7:10 PM. She was born in London, Kentucky on June 15, 1945 to Noah and Betty (Turner) Stines. Edith was employed as an STNA at Wellington Manor for a number of years. Edith was a member of Dayspring Worship Center. On June 10, 1974 in Hamilton she married Arvol Estes and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1986.

She is survived by three children, John (Vickie) Robinson, Nancy (Ron) Boyd, and Melanie (Brian) Dillingham, all of Hamilton; one brother, Junior (Brenda) Stines of St. Marys, Ohio; one sister, Ruby Parks of Oxford; nine grandchildren, Michelle Robinson, Robert Bales, Robert (Laura) Meyers, Ryan Bales, Ronald Boyd, Cassandra Boyd, John Boyd, Jeffrey Short, and Bradley Meyers; and one great granddaughter, April Ashdown. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Jay, Clarence, Francis, and Jeff Stines; and two sisters, Evelene Allen and Edna Stines.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Smith of Dayspring Worship Center officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
