Edith M. Isaacs, age 74 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on October 6, 1941 to Orval and Mattie (Croucher) Montanye. On February 27, 1961 she married Everett Isaacs Jr., who preceded her in death in 2015.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (James) Wagner; granddaughter, Christina Wagner; a great-granddaughter, Emily; close friend, Randy (Dawnmarie) Retherford; a sister, Louise Isaacs; a niece, Cindy Isaacs, a nephew, Terry (Dee) Isaacs; and two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Isaacs Jr.; and her parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Denny Matheny officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Tridia Hospice in her honor. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her nurses, Kim Debbie, Sarah, and Christine, from Tridia Hospice and the nursing staff at Glen Meadows, including her special nurse, Angel, for all their care and compassion.
