Edna M. Lamb

Edna M. Lamb, age 78 of Hamilton passed away at her son’s residence on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 10:04 PM. She was born in Hamilton on November 20, 1931 the daughter of Sherman M. and Martha (Rapp) Swihart. Edna was employed as a monitor technician at Mercy Hospitals in Hamilton and Fairfield, retiring in 1994.

She is survived by two children, Kenneth (Joyce) Lamb and Brenda Lunsford, both of Hamilton; one brother, Sherman (Jean) Swihart of Florida; two sisters, Thelma Philpot of Florida and Forella Morgan of Middletown; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Earnest Wayne Lamb; a brother, John Swihart; and sister, Myrtle Swihart.

Funeral service will be held at the New Beginning Tabernacle, 2561 Ramona Lane, Fairfield, on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Paul Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
