Edna Warner

Edna Warner, age 87 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on May 21, 1938, to Loyd Furmon and Ethel (Ponder) Furmon. Edna later moved to Hamilton, Ohio, where she graduated from Hanover and built a life rooted in family, faith, and service to others.

Edna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-Grammy. She will forever be remembere3d for her kindness, quiet strength, and the unconditional love she gave to everyone she met. For many years, she lovingly cared for children as a caregiver- a role she truly cherished and took great pride in.

A woman of strong faith, Edna was one of the oldest members of Hamilton West Baptist Church, where she found joy, fellowship, and spiritual comfort throughout her life. She also faithfully taught Sunday School for many years. She loved teaching about Jesus and touching the hearts of countless children and families through her dedication to God’s word.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Ethel Furmon, and her beloved husband, J.D. Warner.

Edna is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia (Todd) Harper and Sharon (Mark) Dully; her devoted sister, Donna Furmon; her grandchildren, Jacob (Alex) Dully and Jennifer (Randy) Beattie; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Joey and Blake Beattie, who brought her endless joy.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM with David E. Williams of Hamilton West Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
