Edward Michael Chumley, age 74 of Somerville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 14, 2016. He was born in Cincinnati on April 8, 1941 to Daniel and Patricia (Crowell) Chumley. Edward was a self-employed truck driver. On February 4, 1960 in Clermont County he married Catherine Stith.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Chumley of Somerville: four sons, Wayne Chumley of Somerville, Harry (Michelle) Chumley of McGonigle, Bryan (Andrea) Chumley of Hamilton, and Eddie Chumley of Middletown; one sister, Shirley Tucker of Tacoma, Washington; one brother, Tom (Patty) Chumley of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Dwayne Chumley, Stacy Grilliot, MacKinzie Chumley, and Colton Chumley; three great grandchildren, Gage, Hannah, and Jovee; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial gathering will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Somerville Bank, c/o the family of Michael Chumley.
