Edward Hurst

Edward Hurst, age 80 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton, on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Edward was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 11, 1936 to Leonard Hurst and Lula (Johnson) Hurst. He was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, amazing father, and grandfather. On April 3, 1976 in Hamilton, he married Rebecca Lewis.

Edward is survived by his wife, Rebecca Hurst; his daughter, Tamara Sue Gaspar; four grandchildren, Amanda Ingram, Mark Ingram, Josh Ingram, and Rachel Riley; three great grandchildren, Madison Ingram, Shelby Ingram, and Jackson Edward Woods; one brother, Ben Hurst; and two sisters, Linda (Walter) Stewart and Loretta Hurst; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Hurst and Lula Hurst; one daughter, Debra Lynn Ingram; two brothers, Paul and Ralph Hurst; and three sisters, Ruby, Ruth, and Clara.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Orville Roach officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
