Edward Kellum

Edward Kellum, age 76 of Hamilton, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 4, 2016. He was born in Hamilton on February 16, 1939 to Harry and Elizabeth (Bowling) Kellum. Ed was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1962-1964. On March 1, 1984 in Hamilton he married Ann Acuff.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Kellum; children, Keith (Dottie) Kellum; Benjamin (Dinah) Kellum; Chris (Kendra) Kellum; step sons, Steven Nelson, and Rick Philpot; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amber, Chandler, Dillon, Ryan, Gunner, Christopher, Austin, Kyle, Tyler, Isaiah, Dougie, Tony, Levi, and Ashley; two brothers, Greg (Pearl) Kellum, and Harry (Gloria) Kellum three sisters, Geraldine Shepherd, Sharon (Harold) Hanson, and Roberta (Jake) Proffitt; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ella Mae Kellum; his parents; two brothers, Bob Huff, and Albert Kellum; and three sisters, Evelyn Robinson, Opal Wagers, and Juanita Smith.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
