Edward "Buggy" Stacy

Edward "Buggy" Stacy, age 74 of Cincinnati passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 7:02 AM. He was born in Cordia, Kentucky on February 4, 1937 the son of David and Ola (Godsey) Stacy. Edward was employed as a construction worker for Monarch Construction Company. In 1953 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana he married Laura Senters.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Stacy of Cincinnati; a daughter, Rosemary Carnes of Cincinnati;a brother, Aaron (Elsie) Stacy of Hazard, Kentucky; four sisters, Aileen Maggard of Hazard, Kentucky, Phyllis Browning, Anna Ison, both of Hamilton, and Mary (C.B.) Smith of Hazard, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Alicia, Vanessa, and George; six great-grandchildren, Hailey, Amanda, Kevin, Matthew, Christian, and Cameron; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Carl Smith, Edward’s nephew, officiating. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
