Edward A. Worischeck, age 43 of Oxford passed away at McCullough-Hyde Hospital on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 12:03 AM. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana on July 19, 1963 the son of Harry Alvin and Florence (Swauger) Worischeck. Edward was employed as a lead man at Barrett Paving Materials for fourteen years. He attended the Park Avenue United Methodist Church and was a member of the NRA. Edward was very dedicated to work and his family, especially his grandson. On August 20, 1982 in Hamilton, he was married to Lisa Stidham.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Worischeck of Oxford; two children, Christine (Brian) Pease of Hamilton and David (fiancée Katie Hudson) of Oxford; his mother, Florence Worischeck of Hamilton; a grandson, Colin Pease; siblings Magdalene (Chris) Trumbull of Hamilton, John (Annette) Worischeck of Dayton, Rhonda Owens of Oklahoma, Harry D. (Madaline) Worischeck of Detroit, Michigan, Rudy (Ruby) Wolfe and Helen Wolfe, both of Windsor, Canada; dedicated dog and best friend, Max; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry A. Worischeck. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Barbara Dafler of Park Avenue United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Eddie will be deeply missed by his many devoted friends and extended family.
