Eileen Ann Harbaum

June 6, 1941 — March 11, 2009

Eileen Ann Harbaum, age 67 of Seven Mile, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 1:12 PM. She was born in Hamilton on June 6, 1941 the daughter of James Lawrence and Jean (Vonderhaar) Binegar. Eileen was employed in the payroll department at Mercy Hospital for 16 years; she was subsequently employed in Mortgage Services at First Financial Bank for 29 years. On April 7, 1961 in Hamilton she married James Harbaum.

She is survived by her husband, James Harbaum of Seven Mile; four sons, James L. (Sheila) Harbaum of Hamilton, William Richard (Deborah) Harbaum of Groton, Massachusetts, Charles David Harbaum of Overpeck, and Anthony Dale (Colita) Harbaum of Middletown; two daughters, Jean Michele (Todd) Bailey and Katrina Ann (Brett) Hyde, both of Hamilton; eleven grandchildren, Michael and Dave Harbaum, Jamie and Cody Harbaum, Anthony, Austin, Dylan, and Courtney Harbaum, Billie Jean (James) VanWinkle, and Logan and Paige Hyde; two great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren, Crystal, Kent, Scott, David, Amber, Amy (Roy), Larry, and Robert; a sister, Lois VanWinkle and her son Chris VanWinkle of Fairfield; a cousin, Doug Handerson of San Jose, California; three half-brothers; a stepbrother; two stepsisters; a great-niece; and a great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harold Thompson, Pastor of Stahlheber Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
