Elbert A Burton Jr., born September 20, 1972 at Langley AFB Hospital in Hampton, VA. Elbert worked at Tipton Roofing for 25 years and was an avid Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his parents Elbert and Lois Burton; his life long girlfriend Shonda Game; loving children, Mallory Brooks and Jonathan Burton; his brother, Chris (Ragina) Burton; his sister, Jennifer (Joseph Studer) Burton; his nephews, Cory (Kahlea) Burton, Curtis and Carter Burton, and Jase Studer; his niece Jayde Lawless; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Doris Burton, and Alfred and Reva Couch.
Elbert passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 of acute renal failure. The family would like to thank the staff at Fort Hamilton ICU, especially Lauren and Tiffany.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. "How ‘bout them Cowboys"
