He was an avid member of the Amvets, Monkey Mutual Aid Society, The Moose, and the Eagles where he enjoyed the kinship of his fellow members.
He is survived by his siblings, Betty (Lowell) Rhoades and Kenneth (Joan) Lenhoff; his children, Virginia (Charles) Sasser, Linda (John) Leece, Kim Lenhoff, John (Theresa) Lenhoff, Kevin (Donna) Lenhoff, and has 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
