Elena Kay Gibson

Elena Kay Gibson, age 40 of Liberty Township went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. She was born on August 4, 1969 the daughter of Rev. Leon and Karen (Gilreath) Petree. Elena was employed in registration at West Chester Medical Center and was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God. On August 20, 1988 she married Nicholas Gibson.

She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Gibson and their two children, Hollie Gibson and Luke Gibson of Liberty Township; her parents, Rev. Leon and Karen Petree of Mason; a brother, Rev. Eric (Kim) Petree of Mason; two sisters, Tonya (Roger) Mason of Mason and Crystal (Mike) Mobley of Wilmington; her father-in-law, Gilbert (JoAnn) Gibson of Alexandria, Kentucky; three nieces, Brooke, Macayla, and Saige; two nephews, Blake and Ethan; devoted best friends, Wanda Rice and Debbie Charles; countless other friends and relatives, who have all been eternally impacted by her influence.

Funeral service will be held at the Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton-Glendale Road, on Friday at 2:00 PM with Pastor Barry Clardy officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
