Elias S. Anagnostou

Elias S. Anagnostou, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Elias was born in Koumaradei, Samos Island, Greece on October 3, 1931 to Stamatis and Argeri Anagnostou. Along with his wife, Helen, he was owner of the Ohio Lunch Restaurant in Hamilton for 50 years. He enjoyed gardening, and attending church at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. He served in the Greek Army during the Korean War.

Elias is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Anagnostou; his children, Emmanuel "Mike" (Julie) Anagnostou, Sophie Lansdale, and George (Carol) Anagnostou; his grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Lansdale, Constantine, Elias, Eleni, and Sophia Anagnostou.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Fr. William Cassis officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
