Elizabeth Ann Carpenter

Elizabeth Ann Carpenter, age 79 of Somerville, passed away at on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Elizabeth was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on June 21, 1947 to Nellie and Elsie (nee Epperson) Akers. She worked at Fort Hamilton as a housekeeper for 8 years and spent many years working at Black Hawk. She enjoyed listening to Elvis and country music. She cherished her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with family at restaurants eating some good food.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters; Beth (Roy) Randlett and Kisha Carpenter; her sons; David M. Tipton and Wade Tipton; her 6 grandchildren and her 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Keith Risner officiating. Burial will happen at a later date.
