Elizabeth "Betty" Kathryn Cunningham

Elizabeth "Betty" Kathryn Cunningham, age 85 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born in Hamilton on September 22, 1930 to Raymond and Florence (Stock) Mick. Betty retired from Hamilton City Schools in 2000. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children; Eric (Cathy) Joyce, Andrea (John Toerner) Joyce, Tony (Paula) Joyce, and Julie (Brian Smith) Joyce-Smith; grandchildren, Cristan, Nick, Beth, Kaitlyn, Ian, Emma, Zane; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ramon (Barbara) Mick; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband Bearl Joyce in 1977; husband Richard Cunningham in 1999; two children, Darrell Joyce, and Adam Joyce; sisters, Marion Lewandowski, and Sally Lyons; and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to Badin High School or to the American Alzheimer’s Association in her honor.
