Elizabeth M. Mardis, age 63 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born in Hamilton on October 30, 1950 to William and Grace (Youngman) Frazier. On December 28, 1966 in Hamilton she married Ronald L. Mardis Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Mardis Sr.; children, Ronald L. (Lisa)Mardis Jr., Joseph T. (Yvonne) Mardis, Homer E. (Tonya) Mardis, and Linda (Nathan) Martin; siblings, Bill Frazier, Taylor Frazier, John Frazier, Floyd (Debbie) Frazier, Addie Bishop, Gloria May Rucker, and Pam (Dewey) Martin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Albert D. Mardis; her parents; and a grandson, Matthew Mardis.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jesse Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 at the funeral home.
