Elizabeth Ann Stanifer, age 31 of Middletown passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 17, 2009 after a lifelong battle with Rett Syndrome. She was born October 4, 1977 the daughter of Berlyn Wayne and Mary Ann (Baudendistel) Stanifer.
She is survived by her parents, Berlyn and Mary Ann Stanifer of Middletown; a brother, Charles (Michelle) Stanifer of Springboro and their children Jason, Jonah, and Hanna; her very special friend and nurse, Heather Mason of Middletown; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Evelyn Stanifer and William and Estella Baudendistel; a very special uncle, Kenneth Stanifer; and aunt and uncle Barbara and Homer Burns.
A memorial service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Howard Stanifer officiating. A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM. Cremation was held. Memorials may be made to International Rett Syndrome Foundation, 4600 Devitt Drive, Cincinnati 45246.
