Elizabeth Naomi Wilder

August 1, 1927 — September 28, 2014

Elizabeth Naomi Wilder, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014. She was born in Decatur, Alabama on August 1, 1927 to Luke and Porta (Bernard) Walker. On December 23, 1950 in Hamilton she married Clarence Wilder. She was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God. Elizabeth was loved dearly by her family and many friends. She will be remembered for her tireless devotion to family and church.Though her physical stature was small, she shared her boundless energy and numerous talents with all she encountered. We have all learned service to others through her example.

She is survived by children, Billy Wayne (Thelma) Wilder, Terry (Bonnie) Wilder, Jeffrey (Shari) Wilder, and Susan (Eric Pervukhin) Wilder; grandchildren, Brian, Melissa, Eric, Terra, Angie, Matthew, Gwen, and Anna; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Bennich; and a close niece, Dorcas (Ed) Byington. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Flora, Maggie, Ann, and Alta; 4 brothers, Curtis, Homer, Will, and Oliver; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Barry Clardy of Princeton Pike Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home
