Elizabeth "Libbie" Marie (Crabtree) Timmons

Elizabeth “Libbie” Marie (Crabtree) Timmons, age 94 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 14, 2024. Libbie was born on the farm in Terre Haute, Ohio on January 31, 1930 to Forrest Crabtree and Thelma (Galbraith) Crabtree.  She married Roy Timmons on June 21, 1947.  Libbie was a loving wife for over 71 years, and a caring loving mother of seven children.  Her and her husband Roy were strong Christians and worked in Ministry for years.  Libbie was musically talented and shared her gifts in the church.  They established a food ministry in Houston, Texas called Matthew 25 Connection that fed thousands during their active years in ministry.

Libbie is preceded in death by her husband Roy R. Timmons; her parents Forrest and Thelma Crabtree; nine brothers and sisters; and three daughters, Nanette Timmons Holden (David Holden), Deeta Timmons Reyes, and Timi Timmons Holden.

Libbie is survived by Treena Timmons Newcomer (Brad Newcomer), Leesa Timmons Fleischmann (Horst Fleischmann), Jeff Timmons (Patty Timmons), Troy Timmons (Linda Timmons), Lynda Crabtree Parker (Robert) Parker, Bill Crabtree (Lou) Crabtree, 28 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Wings Christian Fellowship, 4338 Tylersville Road, West Chester Township, Ohio, on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:30 AM with Rev. John Johnson of Cobblestone Community Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Oxford Women’s Care Center, PO Box 1, Oxford, OH 45056.  A Christian Pro-Life ministry that Libbie proudly supported.
