Ella Mae Burke

Born April 14, 1942 in Rockcastle County Kentucky. Was called home by the lord January 7, 2019 while being surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by her sons David Burke Jr and Linda, Donavan Burke and Patty, Robert Burke and Sandra, and longtime companion William Kilburn.

Grandchildren: Jack-Michael Albright, Jessica Burke, Donavan-Jacob (Melissa) Burke, Cheyenne Burke, Autumn Burke, Kimberly Burke, and Kaicee Burke. With one great grandchild, Paislee Wocher. Was the brightest light in her great grandmother’s eyes. That kept her amongst us for as long as she possibly could.

Sisters: Geraldine (Virgil) Reddin, Janet (Larry) Greer, Connie (Lee) Robinson, Bonnie Wilson, Anna (Duaine) Couch, and Norma Pitts.

Brother: Eddie (Judy) Carpenter and many nieces and nephews.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband David Burke Sr, Son Danny Burke, Father Ben Carpenter, Mother Bessie Carpenter, Brothers Coleman, Roland, and Darrell Carpenter, Sisters Mildred Carpenter, Lorraine Morris, Faye Waddle, and Beulah Andrews.

Visitation will be held at Brown and Dawson Funeral Home, located at 330 Pershing Avenue Hamilton Ohio, 45011 on Monday January 14, 2019 at 10:00AM with services to begin at 11:00AM officiated by Darrell Kilburn followed by being laid to rest at Rose Hill Memorial Park located at 2565 Princeton Road Hamilton Ohio, 45011
