Ella Mae Chalfant

Ella Mae Chalfant, age 79 of Fairfield passed away at Tri- County Extended Care Center on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 6:54 PM. She was born in Hamilton on May 21, 1931 the daughter of Ray and Louvenia (Kinzer) Winkler. Ella was a member of Fairfield Church of the Nazarene. On January 1, 1951 in Hamilton she married Richard A. Chalfant, and he preceded her in death in 2001.

She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Larry) Lednik, Donna (Presley) Trumbull, and Betty Jo (Shane) Bruning, all of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Richard Lee Trumbull of Hamilton, Jonathan (Tara Hibbard) Trumbull of Fairfield, and Randy (fiancée Megan Woodrum) Lednik of Fairfield; a great-granddaughter, Harper Elizabeth-Mae Trumbull; and a brother, Larry Isaacs of Roy, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Winkler and Louvenia Isaacs.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 7:30 PM with Associate Pastor Scott Young of Fairfield Church of the Nazarene officiating. Cremation will be held, with inurnment in Rose Hill Burial Park at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Tri-County Extended Care Center and Hospice of Cincinnati for all their loving care and support.
