Elmer Begley, age 77 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013. He was born in Jackson County on September 20, 1936 to John and Elsie (House) Begley. On April 6, 1976 in Hamilton he married Grace Marlene Lunsford, and they were married for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Marlene Begley; brothers, Bill (Louise) Begley, JB (Wanda) Begley, Hurstel (Kathy) Begley; sister, Lucy Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Saul Begley; sister, Edith Lunsford.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in his honor.
