Eloise "Pudgy" Tenbusch, age 82 of Fairfield Township passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. She was born in Hamilton on June 21, 1928 the daughter of Vernon E. and Gertrude (Arno) Lake. Eloise retired from Mercy Hospital of Hamilton after thirty years of service. She was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. In 1946, she married George H. Tenbusch at the Basilica in Covington, Kentucky.
She is survived by her husband, George Tenbusch; six daughters, Pamela (John) Tucker, Constance Scheid, Kristine (Francis) Parrish, Janie (Jim) Kleinfelder, Teresa (the late John) Bowling, and Amy McKaig; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Beer and Margot Howard; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joan Hall; and a grandson, Adam Bowling.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton Street, on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 11:00 am with Fr. Kenneth Schroeder, long time family friend, as celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Southwest Ohio.
