Elveda Faye Pitts

Elveda Faye Pitts, age 59 of Fairfield, passed away at UC West Chester Hospital on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Elveda was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 6, 1966 to Phil and Melvia Jean (nee Kidd) Davidson. She graduated from New Miami High School. Elveda started working for Defense Contract Management Agency in Evendale, Ohio in 1986. She was a team supervisor of the Government Property Group and a member of the National Property Management Association. Elveda was awarded the Secretary of Defense Award for Outstanding Service Members and Civilians with Disabilities in 2018. Elveda was well respected in the defense contracting community. On September 30, 2011, she married Geoffrey Pitts. Elveda enjoyed attending and watching sporting events and hanging out with her friends and family, especially time spent with her granddaughters.

Elveda is survived by her husband of 14 years, Geoff Pitts; her son, Ryan (Amanda) Riethmaier; her stepchildren, Geramy Pitts and Brandis Pitts; her granddaughters, Elizabeth, Rylan and Paisley; her siblings, Karla (David) Kent, Phil (Angie) Davidson and Jeff (Michelle) Davidson; and many nieces and nephews. Elveda was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Phyllis and Marchella Davidson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM with Pastor Larry Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
