Elza B. Brock

Elza B. Brock, age 83 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 5:35 PM. He was born in Irvine, Kentucky on April 2, 1931 the son of Hiriam and Stella (Combs) Brock. Elza was retired from Mosler Safe Company. He was a member of Lindenwald Baptist Church. Elza was a veteran of Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1953. On June 25, 1954 in Hamilton he married Faye Withers.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Faye Brock of Hamilton; three sons, Michael Brock, Ronald Brock, and Allen Brock; four grandchildren, Demisha (Jimmy) Vordenberge, Justin (Miranda) Brock, Jacob Brock, and Joseph (Melinda) Brock; one brother, Boyd Brock of Chicago; one sister, Eudell Dempsey of Crittenden, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Deewitt, Lloyd, and Curtis Brock; one sister, Beulah Hayden.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Randy Moore of Lindenwald Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
