Emile Settevendemie

Emile "Mel", age 90, died on October 20 in Hospice of Hamilton, Ohio. Devoted husband of the late Dorothy; excellent father of John (Nicolette), Anne (Randy) Ritz and Susan (Eric) Wirtz; loving grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of two. A long-time resident of Cleveland, Ohio, Mel and his brother, Larry, owned and operated Larry’s Auto Parts in Euclid, Ohio for nearly forty years. Mel honorably served for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He attended Western Reserve University in Cleveland, where he met Dorothy. Mel will be lovingly remembered for his devotion to his family, his work ethic, ready smile, many stories, and his unwavering respect for people from all walks of life.

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home at 1350 Millville Avenue, Millville, Ohio 45011, on October 23 from 12:30-1:30 with a memorial service at 1:30.
