Ernest "Ernie" Pence

Orville "Ernie" Pence, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on February 8, 1947 to Oliver and Bertha (Thompson) Pence. Ernie was a self-employed truck driver at E. Pence Trucking.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Susie (Little) Pence, his children Tamie (Jonathan) Peel, and Matt Pence, his grandson, Justin Peel, his siblings, Connie, Earl, Brenda, and Rae Jean, his mother-in-law, Ida Little, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clarie, Steve, David Henry, and Everett, and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10AM with Br. Ronnie Wolf of Harrison Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
