Ernie L. Hubbard, age 67 of Tampa, Florida passed away at Lifepath Hospice House, Temple Terrace, Florida on Thursday, January 6, 2011. He was born in Barbourville, Kentucky on July 28, 1943 the son of Cecil and Pauline (Hammons) Hubbard. Ernie was a graduate of New Miami High School.
He is survived by two sons, Guy (Phyllis) Hubbard of Minneola, Florida and Brian Hubbard of Tampa, Florida, two brothers, Marvin Hubbard of Hamilton and Willard (Donna) Hubbard of Fairfield; two sisters, Faye (Douglas) Buzan of Hamilton and Carol Sue (James) Day of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Summer, Wyatt, Lauren, and Keven; and his former spouse and mother of his children, Judith Hubbard Terry of Silver Springs, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry Hubbard and Paul Kenneth Hubbard.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM with his brother, Willard Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
