Esther L. Hynes

Esther L. Hynes, age 84 of Hamilton, passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Monday, December 17, 2207 at 7:03 PM. She was born in Hamilton on February 2, 1923 the daughter of Andrew and Helen (Wolf) Wedder. Esther was a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, Michael (Sandy) Hynes of Middletown; three grandchildren, Ryan P. (Regina) Hynes, Todd M. Hynes and Michael P. Hynes; a great-granddaughter, Mariah Hynes; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Hynes in 1957; brother, Harold Wedder; and two sisters, Romilda "Millie" Carpenter and Mary Margaret Kurtz.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Fr. Timothy Bunch of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
