Esther Ruth Case "Aunt Jane"

Esther Ruth Case "Aunt Jane", age 88 formerly of Hamilton, passed away at Veranda Gardens on Saturday, August 2, 2014. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on April 15, 1926 to Arch and Sarah (Sapp) Malone. On October 28, 1949 she married Eugene Case, whom preceded her in death on September 29, 1996. Esther was employed at Lane Bryant clothing store for 13 years. She was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ for over 10 years.

Ruth is survived by her children June Chadwell of Hamilton, Ohio, John (Katie) Case of Middletown, Ohio, Ricky (Beverly) Case of Hamilton, Ohio, Regina (Jack) Hodge Mt.Vernon, Kentucky, Lesley (Chuck) Currie of Old Town, Florida, Dana (Wayne) Livengood of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bill (Karyn) Case of Irvington, Kentucky and Brenda (Phillip) Ellington of Hamilton, Ohio; 24 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sister in laws and many nieces and nephews and a very close niece Donna Hart, of Fairfield, Ohio. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 great granddaugther, 2 son in laws, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral service will be held at Fairfield Church of Christ, 745 Symmes Rd., on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 1 PM with Rev. David Hargrave officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 6-8 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, Hamilton.
