Ethel M. Parker, age 92 of Dry Ridge, Kentucky passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. Ethel was born in Frankfort, Kentucky on June 29, 1924 to Grant Rowland and Lona (Moore) Rowland. In 1942 she married Robert Parker, who preceded her in death in 1986.
Ethel is survived by her children, Margie Carr, Lona Marcum, Robert (Janet) Parker, Jr., Dale Parker, Teresa (Wilbur) Burden, James Parker, and Danny (Vanessa) Parker; brothers, Ralph and Oscar Rowland; 26 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parker, Sr.; daughter, Betty Parker; granddaughter, Cynthia LuAnn Parker; 9 siblings; and her parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
