Ethel M. Ridner, born on May 12, 1941, in Butler County, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Ridner. She is survived by her children Sandy Flannery, Bill (Ronda) Croucher, Sheila Croucher, and Floyd (Dawn) Croucher. Ethel took immense pride and found joy in the accomplishments and happiness of her family.
She was stepmother to Robbie (Kim) Ridner and Shanna Ridner. Ethel was a proud grandmother, leaving behind her grandchildren: Erica (Bobby) Musgrove, William (Megan) Croucher, Rachel Bunch, Michal Flannery, Douglas (Michala) Croucher, and Andrew Croucher, as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
Ethel leaves behind her siblings, Marlene (Willie) Jennings, Betty (Dan) Campbell, Ronald (Jessie) Allen, and sisters-in-law Opal Allen and Marjorie Allen, and many beloved nieces and nephews with whom she shared many treasured moments. She was predeceased by her parents, Victor Randall and Nanny Allen, and her siblings Cecil Allen, Delmus Allen, Burgess (Sue) Allen, Wanda (Julius) Hacker, Denver Allen, and Paul Allen.
She grew up attending West Chester Schools and later became a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God, where she cultivated lifelong friendships. Ethel raised her family in Hamilton, Ohio and was an avid sports fan. She loved spending time with her family more than anything.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation services, which will be held at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home located at 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013, on February 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00AM.
