Ethel Venable

Ethel Venable, age 90 of Fairfield passed away at Heartland of Woodridge on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 5:30 PM. She was born in Travelers Rest, Kentucky on October 23, 1919. On December 24, 1935 in Travelers Rest, Kentucky she married Regan Thomas Venable, and he preceded her in death in 1997.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Thomas Renneker, David Renneker, Steve Renneker, and Michael Renneker and four great-grandchildren, Lena Renneker, Shane Renneker, Lauren Renneker, and David Renneker Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Emmy Minter; two children, Linda McElligott and Thomas Venable; and brother, Earl Eve.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kenny Tye of Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
