Eugene C. Jacquemin

Eugene C. Jacquemin, age 83 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Monday, March 28, 2011. He was born in Hamilton on September 20, 1927 the son of Louis and Nora (Clemmons) Jacquemin. Eugene was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed yard work, cutting more than 20 acres of grass.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary A. (Hangbers) Jacquemin of Hamilton; two daughters, Pat (Joe) Hoffman of Millville and Kathie (Mark) Wernke of Fairfield; a brother, Leroy (Rita) Jacquemin of Hamilton; and two grandchildren, Chris (Laura) Hoffman of Fairfield and Kevin Hoffman of Millville; He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Fr. John Jacquemin and Louis Wilbur Jacquemin.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Jeff Bacon and Fr. George Jacquemin, Celebrants. Burial will follow in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
