Eugene Marcum

Eugene Marcum, age 76 of Camden passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 5:12 AM. He was born in Hamilton on October 4, 1937 the son of Stanley and Viola (Johnson) Marcum. Eugene was employed as an asphalt plant operator at Don S. Cisle Contracting for 44 years, retiring in 2000. On September 8, 1956 in Liberty, Indiana he married Nina Fay Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Fay Marcum; a son, Donnie (Brenda) Marcum; a daughter, Sandy (Sam) Combs; a brother, Jack Standafer; two sisters, Yvonne Payne and Linda Parrett; four grandchildren, Ryan (Karla) Marcum, Jamie (Amber) Marcum, Christopher (Kelly) Marcum, and Jeremy (Bess) Combs; and six great-grandchildren, Kody, Dylan, Kylie, Krista, Hunter, and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Marcum and a sister, Joyce Seaborne.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on April 16, 2014 at 1 PM with Rev. Mike Gentry officiating. Visitation will be held on April 16, 2014, from 12 Noon until time of service (1 PM) at the funeral home.
