Eugenia Wells, age 87 of Williamsdale passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 12:10 PM. She was born in Eaton, Ohio on February 3, 1922 the daughter of Samuel and Daisy (Batdorf) Lee. Eugenia was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert Lee Depew and his fiancée, Vicky Grider of Williamsdale; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Richard Evans and Velta Marie Raines; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral service will be held at the Redeemer Baptist Church, 3751 Trenton Road, on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Richard Coldiron and Rev. Jim Tabor officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
