Eula J. Holland

Eula J. Holland, age 87 of Hamilton, passed away at Golden Years Nursing Center on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 8:00AM. She was born in Perry Co., KY on July 28, 1929 to Fred and Cynthia (Hall) McIntyre. Eula was employed at Mail Sort Inc., retiring in 1991. On June 18, 1947 in Perry County, KY, she married John Holland, and he preceded her in death in 2000.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Marline) Holland and Patricia Johnson; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband; three sons, James Holland Richard Holland, and Fred Holland; and also 10 siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at 11AM with Pastor Denny Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2016 from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
