Eva Mae Powell

Eva Mae Powell, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. She was born in West Middletown, Ohio on September 6, 1924 to James and Jenny (Jackson) Williams. Eva was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who never met a stranger.

She is survived by her children; Phillip Mullins of Clermont FL, Debbie (Gordon) Adams of Hamilton, Jennifer Downie of Middletown, Charles (Debbie) Sizemore of Hamilton, Mark (JoAnn) Powell of Middletown, Ruth (James) Bustle of Camden, and Odis Powell of Hamilton; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Clyde (Shirley) Williams of Idaho, and Frank (Vivian) Williams of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Phillip Mullins and Otis Powell; children, Phillis Ann Mullins, Rebecca Franklin, Pam Born, and Tim Powell; a sister, Esther Gray; a brother, James Williams Jr.; and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Judy Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Hospice of Hamilton in her honor.
