Eva M. Scurlock, age 89 of Crest Hill, Illinois passed away at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center on Saturday, August 4, 2012. She was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on August 12, 1922 the daughter of Hoover and Jessie (Hay) House. On December 21, 1944 in Middletown, she married Frank L. Scurlock, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Dallas Scurlock of Omaha, Nebraska and Michael Scurlock of Plainfield, Illinois; a brother, William House of Hamilton; a sister, Betty Dunmeijer of Hamilton; and two granddaughters, Tracy and Brenna. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Sandra J. Scurlock.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton, Ohio on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating.
