Evangeline "Angie" Feltner, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky, on September 8, 1933, to Roy and Carrie (Wooten) Neace. Evangeline was employed at Mercy Hospital for 20 years. She was a devoted collector of dolls, figurines, and other artistic folklore. She was a charitible philantropist. She enjoyed Gospel and Blue Grass music and was a devoted Christian.
She is survived by her husband, Hershell Feltner; children, Roy (Beverly) Feltner of Hamilton, Eureka (Carl, Sr.) Eldridge of Batavia, and Anthony (James Sylvester) Feltner of New York; grandchildren, Brandon, Cassandra, Carl Jr., Kristina, Tyler, and Lauren; great grandchildren, Zachary, Brady, Sidney, Chelsie, Alexis, Lindsey, and Charles; brother Hetch Neace; special nieces, Eunice and Sharon; and many other nieces and nephews. Evangeline was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Harm Neace, Beecher Neace and Opal Jones.
Visitation will be 5-8pm, Sunday, March 24, 2013, at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. Service will be 11am, Monday, March 25, 2013, also at the funeral home on Millville Avenue with Rev. Earl David Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
