Evan L. Fraser

Evan L. Fraser, age 82 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Evan was born on October 2, 1940 in Akron, Ohio to Charles Robert and Althea (Griffin) Fraser. In 1942, he moved to Warren, Ohio to live with his grandparents, John, Robert and Jemima C. Fraser. He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1958 and the University of Akron in 1963. Evan served in the U. S. Army through July of 1968. In August of 1963 he married Mary (Rees) Fraser, who survives him. He is also survived by a son, John of Cincinnati and a daughter, Susan Fraser (Ben Rust) of Hamilton, Ohio. He also leaves behind four very-much-loved grandchildren, Gabriel, Madeleine, Sophia and Scarlett. Also surviving him is his brother Keith and his wife, Anne (DeBozzi) Fraser. A sister, Beverly, preceded him in death.

Evan worked for Ohio Casualty Insurance Company for 33 years and retired in 1999.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Friends Adoption Foundation, 2480 Ross Millville Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, or to the charity of your choice.
