Evelyn Begley

Evelyn Begley, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at home on June 21, 2017. Evelyn was born in Wooten, Kentucky on November 14, 1927 to John Bailey and Susan (Turner) Bailey. She has worked most of her life before retiring from Mercy Hospital in 1989. Evelyn was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and loved her extended family and her church.

Evelyn is survived by her five children, Janice Hatten, Donald (Gail) Begley, Brenda Miniard, Clyde (Paula) Begley Jr., and Freeda (Dan) Smith; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one sister Roxie Wells; one brother, John Junior; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; and nine siblings, Rose Gibson, Ida Hendrix, Lige Bailey, Reuben Bailey, Viola and Zola Bailey, Felix Bailey, Robert "Bob" Bailey, Clifford "Butch" Bailey, and Donald "Don" Bailey.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11Am with Pastor Mike Botts of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10Am to 11Am at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
