Evelyn C. Issenmann

Evelyn C. Issenmann, age 95 of Hamilton passed away at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 1:34 AM. She was born in Middletown on January 16, 1915 the daughter of James and Nellie May (Booth) Newman. Evelyn was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. In 1946 in Hamilton she married Carl Edward Zecher, and he preceded her in death in 1958; on July 4, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio she was married to Howard Issenmann, and he preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by a son, Doug (Michelle) Zecher of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Shannon Zecher and Tyler Zecher; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton Street, on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 9:30 AM with Fr. Michael Pucke Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Sunday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
