Evelyn J. Jones

Evelyn J. Jones, age 74 of Fairfield passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 4:32 PM. She was born in Hamilton on February 11, 1936 the daughter of Herbert C. and Edna (Martin) Mick. Evelyn was president of Professional Business and Tax Consulting Services, Inc. for 46 years. She was a member and past director of Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, founder and past officer of Fairfield Community Foundation, and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. On November 26, 1955 in Cincinnati she married Ronald E. Jones who preceded her in death on February 11, 1980. On July 16, 2010 in Fairfield, she married William C. Vidourek.

She is survived by her husband, William C. Vidourek of Fairfield; three daughters, Lori (Christopher) Jones-Bartick of Fairfield, Becky (Dan) Hileman of Somerville, and Shelley (Bruce) Miller of Fairfield; three stepchildren, Amy (Brian) Singleton of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Angela (Rob) Kernen of Cincinnati, and Traci Vidourek of Fairfield; two brothers, Larry (Maureen) Mick of Cleveland, Ohio and David (Rachel) Mick of Jupiter, Florida; two sisters, Mary Lou (Bob) Moran of Hamilton and Sister Loretta Mick of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Karly) Ketterer, Nicole (Kerby) Karlsrud, Scott (Tiphany) Ketterer, Holly Hileman, Melissa Hileman, Rhonda Miller, and Ben Miller; and four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin, Blake, and Connor. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Herb, and Billy Mick; and a sister, Betty Fath.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Road, on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or Fairfield Community Foundation.
