Everett A. Isaacs Jr.

Everett A. Isaacs Jr., age 80 of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on June 6, 1935 to Everett and Dorothy (Roach) Isaacs. On February 27, 1961 he married Edith Montanye. Everett served several tours of duty in the Marines and Army, totaling 18 years of service. He retired from Edgewood School District in 2000 after 22 years.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Mae (Montanye) Isaacs; daughter, Brenda (James) Wagner; granddaughter, Christina Wagner; a great-granddaughter, Emily; step son, Randy (Dawnmarie) Retherford; step grandson, Caleb Rutherford; his sisters, Lavada Bryant, and Brenda (Bob) Boyer; a sister-in-law, Louise Isaacs; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Isaacs; sisters, Loretta Robertson, Verlyn Burton, and Patricia Isaacs; his parents; and his grandparents, Frank and Sarah Roach, and Robert and Bessie Isaacs.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Denny Matheny officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
